Hello! My name is Kelly Newcomer. I grew up in Newell, PA and was a graduate of Frazier High School in 1993. I received my diploma from Duff's Business Institute in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, and am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at California University of PA. I currently live in Blainsburg, PA and have 3 amazing children ages 12, 14, and 16.
My grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia in 2012, which inspired me to work with senior citizens, making the last moments of their lives enjoyable! I started working as a Program Assistant at the Center In The Woods Adult Day Center, where my grandmother attended. I then became the Activity and Fundraising Coordinator. From there, I became the Director of Maplewood Adult Day Center in Uniontown, then the Memory Care Director of a Personal Care Home in Bridgeville, PA.
I am extremely excited to begin my employment at Life's Promise, and to bring my ideas and experiences along with me! I am anxious to meet the residents and their families, and to learn as much as I can about each and every one of them. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your community!
